Shenzhen Longhua District Second Experimental School was established in 2018, located at Donghuan First Road, Longhua Street, Longhua District, Shenzhen. The school is a nine-year consistent public school, with 72 teaching classes (including 48 primary school classes and 24 junior high school classes), providing about 3,000 student places. In the four years since its establishment, Shenzhen Longhua District Second Experimental School has become a model school in Shenzhen with remarkable achievements.

Gathering talents from all over the world, reserving excellent teaching staff

In November 2017, the Longhua District Education Bureau recruited 16 fresh graduates from key universities in Beijing, Changchun, and Chongqing, of which nearly 70% were postgraduates, and even outstanding graduates from Peking University joined the teaching team of the Second Experimental School of Longhua District.

Since December 2017, the Longhua District Education Bureau has selected and transferred outstanding teachers from across the city, introducing many experienced and excellent in-service teachers to lead young teachers in their growth. The Second Experimental School of Longhua District has been highly recognized by peers, and dozens of outstanding teachers have applied to join.

Over the past four years, the school has recruited elite teachers extensively, strengthening its teaching force, including national class teacher studio hosts and provincial famous teachers.

Offering Key Courses and Building Smart Classrooms

Shenzhen Longhua District No. 2 Experimental School explores the establishment of a STEAM curriculum system based on the Design Thinking theory. Supported by the smart campus management system and smart library system, the curriculum is organized and implemented to cultivate students' abilities, thinking habits, and practical experience, while also exercising their creative confidence, spirit of risk-taking, and ability to solve real-world problems in collaboration with others.

At the same time, the school actively builds smart classrooms. Since its early days, it has cooperated with Guantbiao Technology, purchasing 39 sets of teaching wireless audio systems. Later, in 2019, it purchased 42 more sets. In 2021, the school equipped more wireless microphones from Guantbiao Technology. The teaching wireless audio equipment from Guantbiao Technology has covered most areas of the school, relieving the strain on more and more teachers' voices.
