Summary : Shaoyang Urban Planning Exhibition Hall opened during the National Day holiday in 2016. Located on the first and second floors of the east end of Building A of the Municipal Cultural and Art Center, it is one of the "Five Halls, One Courtyard, Two Centers" and covers an exhibition area of 4,000 square meters. It is a comprehensive exhibition hall integrating functions such as planning display, science education, characteristic tourism, business leisure, and archive inquiry. The exhibition hall is divided into four major sections: "Land of Impression," "Land of Legend," "City of Vitality," and "Wings of Dreams."

It is a comprehensive exhibition hall integrating functions such as planning display, science education, special tourism, business leisure, and archive inquiry. The exhibition hall is divided into four major sections: "Land of Impressions," "Land of Legends," "City of Vitality," and "Wings of Dreams."

"Strolling through the planning exhibition hall, you can savor the long history of Shaoyang's past, the vigor of its present, and the grand blueprint of its future." Just as the elegant preface says, the municipal planning hall, with its rich and exquisite graphics, fine and lifelike models, high-definition and stunning images, and friendly and interesting interactions, immerses visitors in a journey through Shaoyang's past, present, and future.

The City Planning Museum begins with the Impression Realm, divided into three major sections: the Land of Legends, the City of Vitality, and the Wings of Dreams, which respectively showcase Shaoyang's past, present, and future. In the Impression Realm, promotional films about the "Two Centers, One Hub" and "Appreciating the Landscape, Immersing in Culture, and Exploring the Ancient City," combined with the city's main theme of "a famous historical, cultural, and scenic city," give visitors an initial impression of Shaoyang. In the Land of Legends, content such as the origin of Baoqing Prefecture, administrative changes, and urban transformations clearly presents Shaoyang's development history; scenes like the Eight Scenic Spots of Baoqing, Baoqing Wharf, intangible cultural heritage, and historical celebrities fully demonstrate Shaoyang's profound cultural connotations. In the City of Vitality, the six comprehensive urban plans of Shaoyang, the transportation hub formed by highways, railways, and aviation, and the tourist destinations composed of Langshan and Nanshan present the city's current brilliant achievements. In the Wings of Dreams, the development plans for the eastern urban cluster, the western ecological circle, and various counties (cities) depict a grand blueprint for urban development.
