       At Orange Isle in Changsha, the statue of the great leader Mao Zedong stands tall, gazing into the distance. The construction of Mao Zedong's statue, from artistic design to its placement on the isle, took over two years to complete.

       Through lifelike and delicate facial expressions, the sculpture depicts Mao Zedong in contemplation at Orange Isle, reflecting the young Mao's "concern for the world"; the base of the sculpture is designed as Mao's shoulders, a massive mountain covering over 1,000 square meters, symbolizing Mao's "great ambitions." There was no existing mountain on Orange Isle, so the young Mao Zedong artistic sculpture required building a mountain, which serves both as the statue's base and as an exhibition hall, killing two birds with one stone. The design unit fully realized this concept as a reinforced concrete structure with a large interior space, effectively solving the support problem of the sculpture. The Mao Zedong Statue Museum attracts countless visitors, who look up at the leader, review history, and cherish the present.
