Tsinghua University History Museum

Summary : In order to create a favorable visiting environment for teachers and students, and to serve as a window for the outside world to understand the history of Tsinghua University, the History Museum of Tsinghua University has adopted the digital wireless zone explanation system independently developed by Guanbiao, which can realize simultaneous speeches by multiple leaders, and each team's explanation operates as an independent system without interference, creating a venue visiting environment with a strong technological atmosphere.

  The Tsinghua University History Museum is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of the main east-west road and the main north-south road on campus, south of the Third Teaching Building. It has a building area of 5,000 square meters and a building height of 18 meters. The museum has three floors in total, sharing a large platform with the New Tsinghua Academy and the Exchange Center on the south side. The first floor houses the shared lobby, the preface hall, the multimedia presentation hall, and the "Centennial Tsinghua" exhibition hall covering 1,000 square meters. The second floor is the special exhibition hall, and the third floor contains rooms for historical research, archives, and teaching purposes.


  The newly completed Tsinghua University History Museum was built with a donation of 25 million yuan from alumnus Zhao Weiguo. It is divided into two floors, with an exhibition area of 5,000 square meters, showcasing the century-long development history of Tsinghua University through texts, pictures, physical objects, and video materials. The museum displays many precious physical objects for the first time, such as the volunteer agreements for public-funded travel to the United States signed by Qian Xuesen and others. It also exhibits valuable historical materials of many masters, including the enrollment cards, transcripts, answer sheets, experiment reports, and textbooks of masters such as Cao Yu, Yang Zhenning, Li Zhengdao, Qian Xuesen, Qian Weichang, and Qian Sanqiang.
