Hubei is a place full of stories. It serves as the artery for power exchange between the north and the south, the backbone for transmitting electricity from the west to the east, and has witnessed the grandeur of high gorges and calm lakes as well as the rapid development of the power industry. Near Shengli Street in Wuhan, there is a power museum that promotes popular science knowledge about electricity, records the century-long history of Hubei's power development, and highlights the important position of Hubei Power Grid in the national power grid. It is the Hubei Provincial Electric Power Museum.

The Hubei Electric Power Museum was completed and opened on July 1, 2014, with a total building area of 5,746 square meters. It consists of the History Hall, Science Popularization Hall, auxiliary rooms, and an outdoor exhibition area. Currently, it holds more than 8,000 collections (including physical objects, historical materials, and pictures). Through two batches of cultural relic grading by experts from the Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, the museum currently possesses 12 national first-class cultural relics, 40 second-class cultural relics, 258 third-class cultural relics, and 416 ordinary cultural relics.

At the end of 2022, Hubei Electric Power Museum adopted Guantek Technology's wireless zone explanation system to enhance the reception service level of the entire museum. Currently, among more than 100 social museums in Wuhan, Hubei Electric Power Museum ranks first in exhibition scale, collection quantity, and reception capacity!

The exhibition area inside Hubei Electric Power Museum covers over 3,400 square meters, with more than 3,000 cultural relics in its collection. The historical exhibition halls are distributed across three floors, divided into five sections: the first floor includes two sections - "Star River Enlightenment" and "Restoration and Construction"; the second floor includes two sections - "Reform and Opening Up" and "Leapfrog Development"; the third floor is the "Industry Highlights" section.
Such a rich collection and professional electrical knowledge, combined with vivid explanations, can further enhance the visiting experience. With the Crown Standard Technology wireless zone explanation system, the guide only needs to wear an interpreter device, and without manual operation, the audio and lighting of the area can be wirelessly activated, easily leading visitors through different exhibition zones.
The wireless zone explanation system provides visitors with an immersive explanation experience of "sound starts when people arrive, sound stops when people leave, sound follows people, like a shadow." Each zone interpreter works independently without interference, and every visitor can clearly hear the explanation without wearing any device.

Since its opening, the Hubei Electric Power Museum has undergone multiple upgrades and renovations to improve its service capabilities, and has received nearly 300,000 visitors free of charge. It has been rated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit by the State Council, and has been rated as a Wuhan Patriotism Education Base, Science Popularization Education Base, Social Research Base, and Ecological Environment Education Base by the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government.

Over the past century, the electric power industry has experienced ups and downs and undergone tremendous changes. As a platform for showcasing Hubei's electric power culture, the Hubei Electric Power Museum keeps pace with the times, continuously attracting high-tech talents and adopting high-tech equipment to narrate the past and future of Hubei's electric power, contributing to the accelerated construction of an energy internet with Chinese characteristics and international leadership.
